Before you sell your coins anywhere, keep these tips in mind:

  • Never clean your coins. Cleaning removes the natural patina and can destroy collector value. A cleaned coin is almost always worth less than an uncleaned one.
  • Do not remove coins from certified holders. If your coins are in PCGS or NGC slabs, leave them there. The certification adds value and trust.
  • Handle coins by the edges. Oils from your fingers can damage surfaces over time.
  • Get multiple opinions. A reputable buyer will not pressure you to sell on the spot. We encourage you to shop around — we are confident in our pricing.
  • Know the difference between face value and real value. Pre-1965 silver quarters are not worth 25 cents. At today’s silver prices, each one contains several dollars worth of silver.
